Heroes Among US

This event, open to the public, is being held at the National Museum of the Marine Corps on Saturday March 28 from 9am to 2pm. The Museum is located at 1775 Semper Fidelis Way, Triangle, VA. Details on the event are below. The Museum website  is USMCMuseum.com

The Capital Wing has a unique association with the Marine Corps. Our TBM Avenger torpedo bomber was a Marine warbird and our Stinson OY-1 was the first warbird to land on Saipan and flew combat obsrvation missions during the Battle of Saipan.

The Capital Wing will be participating in this event and will have an exhibit table where you can get information abut our warbirds, warbird rides, and membership in our living history all volunteer organization.
