Hangar Dance

The Capital Wing brings back an old favorite. The 1940s Hangar Dance! Save the date: Saturday November 7 at the Capital Wing hangar at the Culpeper Regional Airport, 12499 Beverly Ford Rd, Brandy Station, VA 22714. Beverly Ford Road is at Rts 15/29 in Elkwood, VA.

The hangar door opens at 6pm with dance lessons from 7-7:30pm. Dancing from 7:30-10pm. Live music provided by the Yesterday Swing Orchestra. Hear samples of their music here.

Step back in time at the Hangar Dance. Wear 1940s attire if desired. See our Piper L-4 in the hangar which flew combat missions at the Battle of the Bulge in 1944. Check out our WWII warbirds on the ramp: TBM Avenger torpedo bomber, North American SNJ/T-6, BT-13 Valiant, Fairchild UC-61 Forwarder, and Stinson OY-1.
